Integrated rangefinder/weather station/ballistics solver system: Bushnell 1-Mile CONX laser rangefinder + Kestrel "Sportsman" weather station that has an integrated Applied Ballistics solver.
This combo features Bluetooth communication between the rangefinder and the Kestrel. The rangefinder sends the distance to the Kestrel, and the Kestrel sends the holdover back to the rangefinder for display. (It might also talk to your smartphone, but I'm a total caveman...)
The rangefinder itself is a bit bigger than a Leica, but that's actually a good thing: You hold it horizonatally like binoculars using both hands (steadier). There's also a tripod socket on the bottom (not found on Leica). The optics are good and the twist-up eye cup is eyeglass/sunglass friendly. The rangefinder uses a CR123 lithium battery (excellent).
At the time of manufacture (2017), this Kestrel was just one step below their top-of-the-line model. It actually has the same body as the Kestrel 5700, just slightly less-featured software. (You might even be able to upgrade the firmware to Kestrel "Elite" for $$$, see link below.)
The ballistics solver has space for 3 cartridges/loads. You can use the standard profiles for 5.56 or .308 or you can program your own custom cartridges as I did. The ballistic solutions were spot-on for me out to 1400 yards (6.5x47L), although rangefinding at those distances can be "challenging" (with any handheld consumer rangefinder).
Both the rangefinder and the Kestrel are in excellent condition. The Kestrel has a few little scuffs, but that's it. The rangefinder looks like new. The package also includes a Kestrel "Vane Mount" ($49 value). See the pics and the links below for more details.
