The barrels I have scoped that look similar were hunting guns that got moisture trapped under the fouling and sat that way in a cool, moist environment. Basically it's rust, not sure if that is the case with yours. Don't get too hung up on the looks, let the target tell you.

It shoots good thanks

Looks like inclusions to me. Suggest you send pictures to Bartlein. Good company.
I bought the barrel through southern precision so I sent them some pics along with Bartline have to wait and see I just saw this today

Try cleaning it with some JB Bore Paste. It could be a stain.

Borescope pics are not always what they seem. There is no depth to the scope image.
I ran some sweets through it then a brush finished with alachol to clean any remaining sweets out

I have a 6BR that looks like that but shoots great and doesn't foul excessively. After I described it to Greg Tannel, he told me it was probably sulphur inclusions in the steel that had precipitated out as the steel was being made.

I have seen a bunch like that and never got a good answer. Posted some on here not long ago actually. The common denominator ive seen was moly use but i dont think thats universal just from my experience

One thing you need to understand in the shooting world of the 21st Century.
It makes no difference how well a barrel shoots. You could shoot “zeros” with it. It could even be a potential national champion.
The ONLY thing that counts is what you see with the borescope.

here is a true story.
several years ago at the NBRSA Group Nationals in Midland, about 8 of us were sitting around on the eavning before shooting the Sporter 100. A spirited discussion irruption about cleaning. It seems everybody had an opinion.
A borescope was produced by a well known shooter. Let’s just see who is really getting things clean.
When he looked into my barrel, he declared it dead on arrival. Copper wash, carbon stains, and gosh knows what were seen. I told him I cleaned it exactly the same way I always do, just a bronze brush, wet patch’s, and Butches Bore Shine. He suggested that the very least I should dig out the SWEETS, even the JB. It needed a lot of work. Get to scrubbing.
I told him it was fine.
Guess who won the Sporter 100 the next morning with a .162 agg.
I would bet good money that your Bartlien has nothing more amiss than a stain caused from a little residue that would disappear with a few wet patches of Butches. Or when the first bullet went by.

Exactly like I said I just got this thing was playing around and saw that thought holy ya but I need to go shoot then run the scope through before I clean it and after

I always heard don’t buy a bore scope! As much as I worry about little things, that’s all I need right now
Your right there. But I couldn't resist for bout $70 bucks as much as I have invested in guns thought it would be nice to see just how good of job I was doing at cleaning always looked good but now I am not sure think it's going to drive me nuts and that don't take much lol
