Initial Bergara BMR outing

Shot 100 rounds through it today. Not a single extraction issue. I varied my bolt manipulation from very soft to rapid. Nice to see that a company can make a 22 bolt action that works reliably. Hopefully this doesn't change later on. I am still a little apprehensive after the Christensen Arms Ranger fiasco, but the outlook is promising.

I had one a month ago.it was a steel barrel.I ran roughly 600 rounds of my best match ammo.it never showed me it wanted to shoot much better than .75" at 50 yards,not even a "teaser" group.i loved the 700 type trigger,the action and everything about it but the accuracy.i sold the rifle and replaced it with a CZ 457 American that shoots stellar right off the bat.
BTW-I think the action is better than the cz Brno. I'll buy one down the road again I bet.if they ever put them in a walnut stock I'd be in love!

I love mine,and I told it so! it is the most mechanically and technically perfect .22 rifle I have ever bought and accurate too.I love walnut and blued steel and old school rifles,this is literally the very first plastic rifle I have bought new ,that worked right,and perfectly and accurately out of the box from day one.I passed on a Browning T bolt to buy this,I’m really glad I did but it’s too bad it’s not made in the USA,
