recent purchase waiting for shipment 1407/1807 purchased new in early 80s by seller , estimated value and trigger model are what I seek along with and 1st hand exp.

Looks like a 1407 position rifle from the early to mid 1970's with the "hair" tirgger which is a very nice trigger....they all will shoot very accurately with good match ammo.
My friend had one he coverted to a benchrest rifle...does real well in club matches with it.

I also bought one just like it last summer. 5018 trigger. $1500+/-. A bad shoulder and life got in the way of shooting mine but there is no reason they won't shoot if the bore is not damaged. If it is not shooting, clean the bore real good. A friend bought one for a backup, and after a light cleaning it just wasn't shooting like he thought it should. Cleaned the crap out of it and it is now his #1 gun.

Appears to be an 1807 action in an older 1407 stock with the 5018 trigger.

Great barreled action that has a slightly lower weight than the 1813 free rifle action. Sights are good and there appears to have an adjustable rear iris with some filter/polarizer combination. Tough to tell as it is partially covered be the eye cup.

My estimated value around $1100-$1200 pending how it shoots. $1500 would be high as it does not have the adjustable (plastic) cheek piece like the 1807.
