Info on TROPHY branded competiton action. Looks like a Hall M

Does anyone have any info on a trophy rifle action. Looks like a Hall clone. A friend just bought one but info hasn't been found on the maker. Tks.

There was a bench gun with a Trophy action for sale in the classifieds about a year ago. I tried to buy it but could not reach an agreement with the seller. It was very similiar to a Hall but not quite as close as my Searcy action is if I remember correctly.

regarding the trophy vs Hall it sure looks like one but there are differences one being the cocking shroud will not fit into my Hall bolt tool.

It may depend on the bolt tool. We have one that appears to be a custom made tool, not a kleindorst. It fits the Hall Dad has as well as the Trophy he has. I believe somewhere he has the original order sheet from the one he has. I know he bought it in an estate, and that gentleman had 4 of the actions. All of them low serial numbers.

My Hall M bolt tool will not, by just a few thou, fit over the Trophy bolt shroud. If it were mine, it would be an easy fix. Tks

Till, who was or is Trophy actions? Who made them and when...any info appreciated.
