Info on Leupold 36X— Scope Enhancer

i bought a 6ppc with a 36X Leupold scope on it. Nice scope with custom turrets.

Just wondering if anyone has seen one set up like this and could give me some info on it.

Also wondering what type of scope enhancer would work best with it to increase magnification?

Thanks

It’s a BR D, those, I don’t believe are custom but the alternative thimble style turrets they used to provide in addition to ones with caps.
Don’t know if you’re going to shoot matches but if so the enhancers will degrade the image a fair amount. These are still pretty marketable, you might be farther ahead to sell it and go to something like the new Weaver 46XR .

You must have been anticipating my next questions. I just started but do plan to shoot some matches so I will hold off on the enhancers. The scope seems fine at 100 yds. I have yet to try it at 200 or 300.

Once I improve my shooting skills, I may upgrade. I like the idea of more magnification but realize that there are some trade offs.

that's not a br-d- that is the first gen 36x that doesn't have the locking objective. those turrets came in the original box to choose between them and the tall target turrets under a screw off cap. that scope will be very clear... without an enhancer. it has less value than a leupold with locking objective but still should go for more than a weaver t36

Yep, you’re right, my bad
