Indicating bore method?

Would like to see everyone’s opinion on the Gordy method of indicating a barrel in the first couple inches of throat and clocking the muzzle up vs indicating the throat on one end and the muzzle at the other or any other methods commonly used out there.

It works, but no better than a few other methods. You’ll have no shortage of reading researching all the methods here. Pick your poison..

I like the Gordy method, I use it the most. I have done it between centers, and by dialing muzzle and throat, all three worked well.
