IMR 4451 need some load data

I can't find 4350 so I purchased several pounds of IMR 4451, unfortunately I have been unable to find any load data other than The IMR site that simply says 37.0 to 41.1 so I was wondering if anyone out there can save me a few trips to the range and give some idea of good starting point,
I am shooting a Ruger Precision in 6.5 creedmor, Hornady brass weighed, trimmed, necks turned, with 140 gr VLD Berger bullets CCI BR2 primers and the twist is 1:8. Any help would be appreciated as the powder arrives in a couple of days

Thanks, Don

not really any shortcuts. If someone gives you an exact load, you should still start low and work up. It is well known that identical loads perform differently, and even DANGEROUSLY in different rifles. Iam in the same boat with 6.5lapua and4451. Just gives me another excuse to head to the range!

My Creedmoor 28" barrel cci200, Berger hybrid 140's i wound up at 40.5 grains. But like said above start low to make sure.

If you go to Precision reloading they just received a new powder shipment of H4350. $15.00 hazmat fee. They dont have any 8lb ers though. I also purchased IMR 4451 but yet to work up any loads. Work has been interfering with my shooting and loading.

I have loaded a bit of 4451 in my Creedmoor. It shoots very similar to H4350. I settled at 39.5 grains with the Berger VLD Hunting bullet. Using BR2 primers / Hornady brass. I worked up all the way to 41.0 grains and still saw only minor signs of pressure, but the 39.5 load shot bugholes. By far the best accuracy node I found. Not as fast as I would have liked, but I highly doubt if an antelope or coyote will know the difference. HTH.

I agree, not very likely that the load from another rifle with a different chamber spec is going shoot well or even be a remotely stable load. I would just go with IMR recommendations and load accordingly. Load to their listed velocity and your pressures should be in the same neighborhood. Its a good powder and should work really well for you.
