Is anyone have any data for this powder in a 6 br or a 6 BRA what's it equivalent to.

Shooting friend got a very nice group with his BRX with 30g at 600yds. I have been using 45.5 in 308/155g - which produced 2870fps in a 28in barrel.

I used it like varget in a BR and Dasher. the same load gave about 15fps less velocity for me, but it shot well.

it has a burn rate close to IMR4064. If you want specific load data. the Sierra 6th edition manual has load data for the 6BR and IMR4166

Kinda sounds like nobody is using this powder but I would love to here more response.

I’ve got some coming and will be testing it in my bra with 109’s, i currently use varget. will try to remember to post results.

I use it in my Dasher, runs almost like Varget. 32gr gets me about 2930 with 105 Hybrids and a 26 inch barrel.
31.4 gr gets me about 2880 with 109s.

Think of it as IMR4064 with temp stability, great powder wish it was smaller kernels like 8208XBR.

I pressure tested it in my bra with 109’s in 95F weather.

31.5gr identical to my varget load and it was 10gps faster. maybe a little ejector shine, so slightly hotter, but close enough I am not worried. I’ll drop to 31.1 and work up to see where it wants to shoot best.

Def more like varget than 4895 for burn in my case.

Kernels are very varget-like but it packed ever so slightly less dense than varget.

What speed 31.5 gr gave you with the 109’s?

see my response to your thread on dasher. depending on bullet lot i get 2900-2925 with varget. IMR was 10fps faster at identical charge and over all length
