IMR 4166 in 6 Norma BR

I’ve been trying to find some data on loading 4166 in my 6BR. I usually run Varget. Obviously that’s impossible to find with no end in sight, so I’m going to test a back up that is available. I run a 104gr Bib. Cci 450. 30.0 grains of Varget. 28” 8 twist Brux. Anybody have any info or results they might want to share? I contacted Hodgdon but am still waiting. I’d imagine they are a little backed up these days. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Some have reported that Shooters World "Precision" powder is also a good replacement for Varget:

My reloading questions have dried up , no primers , powder and bullets. The shooting sport is done for when there's nothing to shoot . Hope I'm wrong.

Having the same issues in NZ. Bought some 4166. Initial impressions are that it could be fine in 308, but strangely poor in 223, with a lower than expected velocity and fast pressure rise around max loads. I will be doing more 308 tests over the holidays to find the nodes, but around 45.5g looks promising, with 155g freedom pill.

Hope your right Kracken , in my area LI, NY you can find odd ball loaded ammo like 17 , even 22's are gone . The gun shop shelves are empty , reloading supplies are a thing of the past , you need all three , having powder doesn't do any good with out the others , pretty sad state here . I've lived in NY all my life sorry to say , except for my time in the military ( ARMY ) trained down south , served overseas VN . Southerners are the backbone of this country in my opinion. Always had my back , never forgot them. We'll see how this plays out . Be Well
