I have a copy of Bill's book,
i think it was from his Second Edition, if he is doing a third printing, i'd reccommend it highly, its a great read.
Nice to see quality books still being written !

I was lucky about 2 years ago to get the last copy of the first edition. Bill signed it for me and we conversed by e-mail for several weeks. Great book, great guy, definitely he looks at things a little differently because of the resources he has in Australia. I sat down and read the whole book in one weekend. It is a book that one can read a dozen times and still find treasures missed during earlier visits.

This is it. Very cheap for the knowledge in the book.

Butch,
Thanks for the heads up on this book. I have the information and my shooting buddy who has Paypal is going to order it tonight.

Received my copy today, this is a great reference book even if you don't want to do any smithing work. It covers everything form the action to tuning loads. Years of experience represented here.

Excellent photographs and step by step instructions. Covers 3 ways to set up a barrel. Will help a lot of shooters accelerate their learning curve and gives enough information to see that there is more than one way to achieve the end goal of accurate shooting.

Not inexpensive but worth the cost IMHO. Covers competition rifles and hunting rifles.

Has anyone else received this book recently?

I ordered mine in February, and it was shipped a few days later. Tracking has shown the same status ("Processed through sort facility") since March 09.

Now, almost two months later, but no book! How long may it take? (I understand that it was shipped by sea, BTW . . .)

I was told the ship by sea is taking forever and the author was advising to do the air freight because of the extended delay. I'm sure you will get it soon. I'm anxiously awaiting my copy as well.

I've been waiting since February also. I did the sea shipping as bill told me it would only take a week longer to get than by air. Looks like it's taking a bit longer.
