IBS Screamer Awards

As most of you know, PS Magazine used to award screamer patches to shooters who shot small groups in IBS and NBRSA matches and submitted a request. When we lost PS Magazine, of course we lost the screamer patch program as well.

The IBS has started a screamer program for our shooters and it is ready to be put into action. It is going to be retroactive for the 2013 season. You can click here http://internationalbenchrest.com/join/screamertext.php and get the info.

Really glad to see the IBS start the program back up... and feel it is an awarding and great promotional program.
Personally, I would also like to see the lists at the end of each year (with the names, places, dates, etc.) on the website on the dedicated page.

This year or last they were giving them out at lot larger group size but it had some other stuff written them. Donovan, i do like that idea of yours,maybe i could use the stickers to hold my LG. together when the glue comes loose……. jim

I am aware of some ranges/clubs having there own screamer type program, with larger qualification specifications. But those are independent at that range/club. The "PS screamer" program was for all the IBS and NBRSA that died with PS when they shut there doors. Real glad to see the IBS take this initiative to start it backup for the IBS.

And yes, you could call it "screaming sticker bedding".....lol

Thanks for your effort with the IBS screamer recognition program Jeff. As most of you know PS magazine had a screamer program that included the NBRSA and IBS. Audrey Brown NBRSA's manager/editor has revived the screamer patch for the NBRSA. Is their a reason that the IBS/NBRSA can't work together on this? Will help to keep costs down. Just a thought.

I have a screamer patch on my shooting bag, very special prize. Great program!!

Donovan It was a embroidered cloth patch but it had different wording on it. They were sent for before PS. went belly up. Instead of -3" it was for - 4" i think, now it's back to -3" and a sticker I got one for the first match with your barrel at Whitehorse,Wv and it was a 2.8" so i sent for one …… jim
