IBS Mike Rippey memorial 200-100

[20PPC]

This weekend July 19-20 Ashe County Wildlife club will be hosting the Mike Rippey Memorial IBS score matches.
Sat. will be 200-100 and Sun. will be 100-200.
A nicer range can't be found located in the mountains of Laurel Springs, NC .
Lunch will be served both days, we're looking for another good turnout.

Wish I could be there this weekend! shoot some good scores and enjoy the mountains of NC as it's much cooler there than it is at the beach.

Steve Stanley won the 100 with 250- 23 x, Terry Killenger was 2nd with 250-20x, Brad Golner was 3rd with 250-20x. Brad Gollner won 200 with 250-8x,Dick Powers was 2nd with 249-12x Michael Clayton was 3rd 249-11x Steve Stanley was 4th with 249-10x. Brad Gollner won the grand with 500- 28x,Steve Stanley was 2nd with 499-33x, Michael Clayton was 3rd with 499- 31x, Dick Powers was 4th with 499-31 also.

There was a very poor turnout of 10 shooters for this match. Ashe Co. Is one of the premier ranges in the country in my opinion. Steve Eller and his crew ran a great match and the food was fantastic just like it always is. It's a crying shame that it was such a small turnout. I hope they continue to hold IBS matches and that they get the crowd they deserve.
