IBS 600 yard Nationals 2020

The registration sheet and information has been posted to the IBS site for this years Nationals. One thing that has changed is that the range will be open starting at 10am on Thursday before the match.

There is limited camper sites so if thinking about camping at the range call Chris and make sure it’s available. 605-366-8198

My application will be in the mail tomorrow morning!

Dave.

Edit-I took a photo of the application and emailed it at Chris' recommendation.

So I heard today this match will be 4 LG targets and 4 HG targets. Is that the normal format for 600 yard Nationals?

Dave.

A question for those in the know, will the course of fire be 5 shots for heavy gun or 10 shots, also how many competitors are estimated to participate?

not sure where you got this info but I don’t think it’s right.

I printed 1,440 target labels for the match. This is in anticipation of 5 relays of 18 benches and 8 light gun and 8 heavy gun targets each.

I spoke with Chris at Hunter’s Pointe today. He said he was surprised but that was what he was told.

The more targets the better as far as I’m concerned! Just trying to plan.

Let me know. Thanks!

600 Yard National Course of Fire is 8 LG and 8 HG targets.

Where do we get the entry forms? Can they be filled out at the match? How many rounds should someone that going to shoot both LG & HG have with them (me)?

Lastly, do shooters get a "special rate" American in Hartford, SD?

Sorry for the dumb question, any help is greatly appreciated

This would be my first Nationals

I would bring 200 rounds and you will probably take home 30-40. You will shoot 80 record rounds and usually about that many sighters.

AmericInn in Hartford offers a discounted room rate if you mention Hunter’s Pointe.

Only 10 more days. If you are coming and haven’t sent in registration make sure you let Chris know so that he can get catering setup.

Thank you all for the information. I won't make this one because our FCSA 50 BMG Match occurs on the same dates in Alliance, NE. Hopefully I'll make next years Nationals.
