IBS 1000 Yard Nationals Results from Deep Creek

Just got home. Pictures, maybe a video of the prize table if it came out and all the other stuff when I can. Need to get in a couple days of work before heading out to help the 2kyd shoot...

I want to thank everyone who came out and all of our sponsors for the prize table. It was truly a team effort by everyone including the shooters. Not a single problem. Everyone was on the ball. Wish I could have been a little more social but the job comes first.

I have to say I have never seen so many well tuned rifles. Practice day made it obvious that it would not be an easy match. Congratulations to Carroll, Tim and Cody for the top places as well as all the other top 20 winners. You guys certainly earned this one.

I had a great time finally meeting so many of you that I have spoke to over the phone.

This had to be one of the BEST matches I have ever attended! The Deep Creek guys put on one hell of a show! A very special Thank You to Shaw, David, Alex, The Anderson sisters (Leo and Lonnie), and Tom for all of your efforts!!! The pit crew did an Awesome job throughout the match-THANK YOU! The prize table had to be one of the best-Thank You to ALL of the sponsors! Thanks to the cooks for a great meal Saturday night and to Vapor Trail Bullets for the sponsorship! Congratulations to Mr. Lance on a well deserved 2 gun overall and the other winners as well.

It was great to see everyone as always and can’t wait till next year! Oh, almost forgot, Tom-The Ga. gang left you a gift in the camper, hope you enjoy it!

I don't have a lot of experience to compare it to as this was my third match ever but agree with everyone that it ran well for that large of an event.

In looking over the very impressive field of competitors in this years IBS/ Deep Creek 1000 yard championship, I couldn't be more encouraged by the growth of long range competition. Of the 80+ entrants, 17 were listed as (R). I feel this is phenomenal and a tribute to all envolved with their efforts and passion for the sport.
