i was looking for a bag of brass

I have in the past traded all the handgun brass that I have and don't have guns in that chambering to my friend that reloads commercially. i was getting a box ready and saw a box a could not remember what was in it. It had 100 45 bullets, 500 9mm bullets and 500 30 caliber 175 SMKs. Merry Christmas

This fall I was at a buddies, he was letting me grub through a bunch of auction smalls(boxes). I found a couple reloading trays and some Lee prime all's. Asked if I could buy one so I wouldn't have to swap back and forth. He said just take what you need, then he handed me a brick of Federal large rifle primers. Got home and looked, 4 boxes of 210, 6 210m. Said he saw them in another box of auction smalls, thought the box looked like something he would bid 5.00 on.

Over a long period of time, I buy stuff and put it away. With these hard times, I started digging around and it IS like Christmas! Find a box of 1000 Custom 30 br bullets! Yahoo! 2000 Federal SRP. WOW! My wife calls it “Shopping in my closet.” It’s like an Easter egg hunt and Christmas wrapped into one! I’m realizing I’m a bit weird, tho. I put stuff in the strangest places!

Because you didn't think your wife would look there :)
She most likely has shoes you haven't seen yet.
That's funny!

They were put there before my last marriage hit the skids, I was single for 3 years, and remarried. I've cleaned under there but never looked in the box. New wife is super clean, unlike old wife, and doesn't like things under the bed so I will probably stash them with the others.

New wife likes shoes a lot so you could be right but she is self sufficient, doesn't care what I buy, so no problems there.

Good for you. I was looking through the ammo locker the other day and found 1k of Federal 223 ammo I bought and forgot about. That was a nice surprise.

A while back I was organizing the top shelf of my main safe. You know... you put things in and other things get pushed to the back. Anyway I found a beautiful S&W Model 60 with rosewood grips. Thinking out loud I said, "Wow I forgot I bought this one!". And the wife from another room replied " If you have guns you forgot you purchased, You have too many guns!" To which I muttered "whatever" while admiring the revolver.
