So, this morning after I had voted I went to my local Cabelas to pay off my card (bought a new chrony) and pick up a .30 cal. nylon bore brush.
I am waiting at the customer service desk awaiting the machine to print my payment as the clerk moves on to help a husband and wife. He is opening a credit card to get the $25 off on a purchase of a pistol (noticed him pointing them out in add). I would say they where in their 70s. The gentleman says to older female employeee "I figured I better come get that firearm now before Hillary is elected" "you know she will probably win and wants to take are firearms". The clerk didn't respond. He then says to her "I bet you voted for Trump being you work for Cabelas". She comments and says "thats my business".
She then just randomly says "No I voted for Hillary".
You should have seen the look on the faces of the couple when she said that. I myself was thinking privately that really is not such a smart move as far as job security being you work at Cabelas (or any firearms dealer).
So, funny the mans wife sitting in a mobile chair then says "I sure hope that b#$ch doesnt get elected. Not sure if the female clerk heard her but, I did. LOL
Who could ever imagine someone working at one of the largest outdoor outfitters that deals in firearms voting for HRC. Simply amazing I think.
Oh well, everyone is entitled to there own choice and vote. I just kinda found the whole situation quite odd.
I think the clerk should have stuck to the premise of that is personal and choosen not to discuss it but, once again that was her choice. It was a bad choice from my perspective.
What say you?
PS: If this is deemed too political and needs to be deleted please do so, as no offense will be taken.
