I need a Savage bolt

I need a LH bolt for a Savage LA with a 223 bolt head.
Besides SSS is there anyone else that can build a complete LH LA bolt ??

Not that I am aware of,however I would call kevin rayhill at stckade stocks and ask him.He is really big into savage's.

Unless I'm mistaken you can order all the parts for the Savage bolt off of Midway's website and assemble it yourself.

Id say your best bet for the price would to go with SSS I delt with them a couple time when I had my savage build going they had great customer service and fast shipping. Good luck to you.

Midway, is out/dosen't carry LH LA parts, I contacted SSS and my action will go out today.

You have several options. Factory Replacement or Precision Ground aftermarket by Pacific Tool and Gauge. The factory replacement will cost less. The PT&G will fit better. You will need to use a Factory bolthead, retaining pin, front baffle, baffle washer, rear baffle, bolthandle, main screw, cocking piece sleeve, cocking piece pin, and firing pin assembly.

The PT&G bolt bodies need to be fitted, adjustong for timing, (primary extraction) and hand lapped in.

Numrich Gun Parts will probably have what you need. Dont know if they will have the complete bolt, but they will have it in parts. They may have it though if you call and ask them, or atleast help you make sure you order everything you need to put it together.
