Just my plinker 22in bbl but well built. Out at my 'range'. 10x scope 103g eldx 2800 fps varget. 10in plate at 612 yds. 4-8 mph swirling morning winds. Can shoot it all day long! Can't do that with a 7rum!

Get yourself some Vapor Trail or Roy Hunter bullets and you will be able to stack them on top of each other at that range! Still that’s great shooting, and lots of fun!

The 6BR is almost boring. I think a person would have to try to find a bad load.
I don’t know why I sold my first one. I take mine along when I am playing with a “problem child” just to make sure it’s not all me.

I have tested many a scope for people atop my 6BR hunting rifle. My buddy calls it the equalizer lol.

6BR, the cartridge that started this forum if I have my facts straight, I could be wrong. There’s something magical about that little cartridge. I’ve had a few and a few variants, it almost seems like cheating sometimes.

The other day I figured out I could do 998 yds in the spot where I was shooting 600. SO I moved back and re-did my target on ridge with a 21in circle, as my center floating + on my 10x scope is 2 moa. The wx was thunderstormy with crazy winds but once I got on the board I waited for lulls and put 5 in a row in a 6 in group ( the yellow were from previous sighters). I'm hooked! what a challenge. Probably won't do that again for a while with my little plinker! But I will try to hit the center next time when the wx is stable.

Thx but can only get excited when have multiple groups like that. But getting a single one tells the rifle and your load will shoot better than I can on average!

Rifle was built off the Rem Mod7 SS package with H-S stock, which has been bedded. Also Shilen 8t 21.5 in bbl, action worked, firing pin bushed to center, triggertech, badger bottom metal with AI mag + Badger spacer kit. I have a NF 2.5-10x42 moar for optics. package weighs 7lbs and supposed to be my truck gun. I was shooting 105 hornady bthp at 2800 with 30.5 vgt in pic. I have now switched to Berger 105vld and seem to have slowed down about 50fps, but more testing to be done. I only have a magnetospeed so have to waste ammo to get the specs on it. I dont trust it for accuracy as sensor shifts because it doesn't grab well on my .60 barrel end. The attachment design could be improved imo.
