We finally made some that even I can hit.

1/2" AR550 targets - 48" OD, 36" OD and 18" x 24" double rectangles. Stands clad with 3/8" AR500 protective plates. Legs detachable for transport.

If there were only larger USPS Flat Rate Boxes...

What , exactly are you shooting at these?? Something THAT big AND 1/2 inch thick!!! I'm guessing that the size is for LR/ELR shooting, but 1/2 thick?? I see you don't leave much to chance!! LOL

We made them to a customer's specifications. Maybe a .50BMG at 1,200-ish? I'm not really sure, as I only guaranteed them to be heavy and rust. If they were mine, I would have gone with 1/4" AR500 for extended ranges. Then again, I don't have a .50, or any real estate that would allow that range. Some folks have all the luck...

That would be a very fair price in this market for such a small quantity ($.66/ lb). We buy it in 45,000 lb truckloads from the mill and don't get it much cheaper than that. It's going up, BTW.

It's a 5 gallon bucket that the chain came in.

One of my shooting buddys who shoots on my steel manages a buisnes that builds high end hopper bottom bins. They buy large quantity's of steel, just not AR 500. He sells it to me for cost and....throws in the labor for cutting and drilling for me letting him shoot out of my "shooting Shack" (pictured on another current post).
