I just picked up a .22 Mag

It is a Taurus Model 72 .22 Mag in Stainless steel. Never had a .22 mag so this will be fun. It's not a competition type gun, but I thought I could use it. Its a takedown model, can just store in a backpack. Nice little JIC (just in case) gun, I could not just let it stay at the store. ;D

Sounds good and there is so much different ammo available now for the .22 magnum that you should have no problem finding what it likes.

Good luck with it!

That little rifle will give you many good memories over the years. Be sure to feed it some Remington or Hornay 30 gr polymer tipped rounds along with the other choices you have available.

I have an older savage 93 .22 mag and i love it! it wil shoot 1-1/5 inch groups at 100 yards with lots of different ammo. i just picked up a 2nd hand stock from boydsgunstock.com to finish over the winter. i love the little rifle and so do my kids. not as cheap as a 22 lr for plinking, but it sure is a lot of fun!

I have an older 93 as well. It shoots MOA @ 100 with Maxi-mags, Fed 50 and V-max.
