I have a CNC machine shop and want to pick your brain.

I would like to find some information on how the joy stick system on front shooting rests are made. I have a CNC machine shop with 37 years of machining experience. I manufacture research equipment as my main income.
I have seen pictures of the custom rests that are out there, using this system, but I would like to get an engineers perspective on how it works.
I have made a few rests for the 1000 yard BR game. See picture.
I know there are a lot of competitive shooters out there that are looking for that perfect rest. Maybe I'm the one that could build it.......Maybe.

Where are you located? You need to put your hands on one and see how the spherical bearings are working and how the parts move into other parts to keep them out of a bind. Most dont see that some parts move because they are a press fit lapped for min clearance.
