hydraulic case forming

I have, worked as it should. Bought an old beater press to beat on which I mounted on a three foot tall piece of 8"x8" wooden beam, didn't want to start pounding on my loading bench. Used a brass hammer from Harbor Freight after ruining the plunger with a steel hammer. You do have to pound on the plunger, no pussy footing around. A good fireforming load blew the shoulders out to crisp angles.

Anneal your cases before using it. Anneal your cases after using it.

I use this on all my dasher brass, works great. I use bearing grease on the plunger ram to keep it from flying out.
