"Hybrid" load development test results - any ideas?

Hi guys,
I did kinda hybrid load dev. testing today, thinking of both shooting groups and do some velocity measurement at one go. Shot 4 shot groups over the Magnetospeed and measured all the speeds. Could you check the results and maybe put some insight to that, especially if sth particular could be taken from it? All the details are on the pics.
Thanks a lot for any hlp!
Cheers
T.

When you say you shot them "over the Magnetospeed", was it attached in the conventional manner on the barrel or mounted off the stock?

It was attached. I know it changes the harmonics, but I assume if the change is the same for each group, then it makes sense to do this, or doesn't it ? :D

Time to run that same test one more time to see if that data correlates. If it were me, I'd load up those loads from 23.3 through 23.6 (even to 23.8) without the MagnetoSpeed. I like the 23.6 numbers and the group, but need confirmation shots.

With the MagnetoSpeed attached you can get some idea of which load works better, but it's not a very accurate way to get a good read. I've done it with my MagnetoSpeed and can get pretty good groups, but with a substantial shift in POI's. I find it's better to do this kind of development without it attached and then later get your velocities.

Sorry, I'm not seeing anything terribly revealing. Assuming the orange targets are 1" circles, you've got one decent sub-MOA group. The rest are pretty lackluster.

Your velocities show a fairly linear progression. No surprises.

Sometimes it works out that way. You send a ladder downrange, expecting and hoping to glean some wisdom. And yet it remains stubbornly aloof.

First thing, I'd pull off the Magnetospeed. Get your velocities separately.

Since you're shooting indoors, you have the benefit of no wind. But I'd pull off the bipod and try shooting from some sort of front bag or rest. Using a bipod off a hard surface often doesn't work out real well.

And, finally, a caution. I've never used that powder and so have no personal experience with it. But if your velocities are accurate... QuickLoad shows your 23.6gr load as being quite hot.

Thanks a lot to all of you guys! Really valuable inputs for me:) I explained myseIf badly, didn’t mean by this “hybrid” load dev. that i was trying to discover some new method or so. Just wasn’t sure about the stuff you have answered so far and also how to correlate those speeds with group / if there’s even sense of doing that.
