I'm looking to reduce some weight on a hunting rifle. The rifle is based on a Mack Evo action with an Urbanrifleman nut barrel, chambered in 6 Dasher. The barrel is 1.075" for 2 3/4", then tapers down to .805" for 2", then tapers down to .750" over 19". I don't really want to spend McMillan money, but will if I can convince myself the $$ are worth it. Thinking more about a Stocky's version in carbon fiber. A major concern is for a magazine that feeds the Dasher cartridge. I mean feeds it error free 100% of the time, not just sometimes. I have reworked Kwik klip mags to work most times, but not 100%. I want mags not more than 5 cartridge capacity. What bottom metal and mag combination will accomplish my goals? Thanks in advance for your from personal experience suggestions!
