Hunting Rifle Scope

Looking for some opinions on a hunting rifle scope.
Would like to reach out to 600 yards maybe 700. Would prefer something with a turret.
Gun is a Bergara 300 Win Mag. Premier Mountain 2.0 Rifle
I put on a Swarovski Z6 3-18x50 BT Plex rifle scope. not pleased with it.
Need some ideas? Few people mentioned a Huskemaw?
Thanks

I like the NightForce SHV line for a hunting rifle. I also just bought a Tract Toric and really like it so far.

I like the leupold vx6hd for a hunting scope. It is 2nd focal plane so if you like a 1st focal plane scope you'll have to look at something else.

Nightforce 12-42x56 NP-1RR is made for target and hunting. It eliminates having a range finder. It is in the optics. Look it up under discontinued reticles and you will see what I mean. That is what I have and I have it listed as for sale.

I just bought a Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 Plex reticle. This scope weighs 12.7 oz. Swarovski glass is as good as it gets. It is going on my H-S PHL 7-08. Eventually, it may go on my H-S PHL 300 WM if I need better optics on that rifle.

Hunting styles vary. I personally never had much use for a lot of weight swaying around in the breeze, high above the comb of a hunting rifle. Low mount and cheek weld are more important to me than power. If you sit or hunt from wheels, those characteristics are not as important. If you hunt on your feet, just buy good glass that will hold a zero. Consider the Swarovski with 1" tubes to save weight.

How, specifically, do you want to use the scope? Is this to be a long range hunting scope? If so, I would look at the Bushnell LRHS 2 from GA precision or the Vortex LHT 4.5-22x50.

As far as hunting goes I try and keep the optic as small and light as I can. The Leupold Mark5 3-18 is what I’m using on my Saums, that’s a FFP scope With turrets you can dial. I’m assuming your looking for SFP if you went with Swarovski Z6. Lots of good SFP hunting scopes, were spoiled with options. Are you wanting to dial your range? Gives us a bit more info on what your looking for and I’m sure the suggestions will come. Swarovski makes a great scope, their Z5 and Z6 line has a solid reputation. I’ve never owned but I just did some load development for my Uncle and his 6.5 PRC which was wearing a Z5, optics were crystal clear, parallax was great but I never did use it in the field. A bit big for my liking but a nice scope. What didn’t you like about the Z6?
