When I first read your post I had mixed feelings about it. My first thoughts were screw the animal rights and anti gun people! If they don't like it don't watch it. Hit the stop button or change the channel on the tube! My next thoughts were well you are right. The animal rights people could and probably would use this against hunters!effendude said:I'm going to Africa next May. I understand about hunting and dangerous game. I have been charged by a black bear sow with cubs on more than one occasion, twice in the dark. A black bear is no leopard, but the end result may be the same. Leaving an animal overnight is smart. No problem. The PH's did their job and killed the cat before it could harm innocent people.
There are times when a hunt doesn't work the way we want it too. My first sentence in my post questioned why you would allow the public to view it. Bad publicity is doing great harm to the hunting industry. Film it if you want, mistakes and all. Show it to your friends. But don't promote it as entertainment if it might hurt the sport.

Dennis, You are defenitly right on with pigs! I have a friend that I hog hunt with. I shoot them from a box blind or from a safe distance with my rifle. He runs them with dogs, and when the dogs hemm the hog up he goes in 1 on 1 with the hog with nothing but a 8" bowie knife! He is 6' 4" 210lbs and I have seen him struggle with a 80lb pig! My Hat is off to him tho! Got bigger go-nads than me! Pigs are fast as lightning and very agile!DennisH said:Well the video reminded me to never walk up to my game unless I am absolutely sure it's safe!
I pig hunt a lot and you can get over confident!
