HS magazine question

I have a tac 30 action in 7mm-08 and about to add a 2nd barrel in 6brx. I have been playing with dummy 6br rounds in the mag and have to load them in the middle then Tap the mag to move all the rounds to the back. 1-will the HS short mag with a spacer ie for 223 work better? 2-will the COAL fit in the mag with spacer inner length of 2.450" other comments?

I'm positive the spacer will work, I have a gen 1 223 mag and swear they work. Let me know if you want it, just gathering dust here.

I have a BAT repeater with the 223 spacer mag for a dasher with the 105's and another BAT repeater with the same 223 spacer mag setup for the straight 6 BR shorter 70 gr bullet lengths. Both guns feed flawlessly once i got the feed lips set. You are correct on max C.O.L length for the spacer mags. Bill

Milo , I wish I could take you up on the gen 1 mag I just dont think it will work, Id like to try I guess, How much do you want for it?

Well crap, just looked for it, gone, I think I gave it to someone on here for the same purpose. I do have 3 - 308 mags, 3-4 rd'rs if you'd need those.
