Howa standard long action to 33 nosler

I have a standard Howa 1500 LA (30-06). I'd like to change it to 33 Nosler. Is it as simple as changing the bolt to a magnum bolt 550 and rebarreling? What am I missing?

Gotcha. Maybe a 338 RPM. Looks like this will only need a barrel. 225g @ 2800....not bad.

As long as the case itself is the same dia as a 30-06 youll be fine- 270, 25-06, 6mm-06, 30-06, etc

It's .500 at the case head, so there may still need to be a little feed rail work--though nowhere nearly as much as with a 33 Nosler.

Maybe even a 338/280 Ackley. Using Peterson brass of course......
