How well does spent primer collection work on a Lyman Turret press??

thinking about buying one of these for decapping but cant find info on how the primer catching system works.

I use the small Lyman single stage it works great for decapping rarely does one make the floor, I did buy the turret press and was so disappointed with it I sold the week after I received it I dont remember the catcher not working the rest of it let me know what the world is coming to for sure

I have a T mag. The primer falls out the bottom of the shell holder through a channel milled into the ram rod (if that’s what it called) and catches in the primer catcher bucket. It works for me. No problems with primers bouncing out and onto the floor. I do my seating now a days on a coax and use the t mag for resizing and collet neck sizing.

I load pistol rounds on mine, and it works as it should.

On my Redding T7 and Rockchuckers, I wedge a 25 cal bullet in the slot in the ram. That stops primers from bouncing out.

The tube on mine feeds into an 8lb Varget jug that hangs on a nail on the front of my reloading bench. Empty the jug every 5 yrs or so.

About 1 in 10 primers does tend to not make it into the tube and bounce out onto the floor.
