how to set form dies

found a set of 4, C & H 22-250 form dies at a pawn shop. No instructions will be using 243 brass Set comes with #1-#4 any ideas on what depth to set the dies. three dies1,3,4 are really short" will not touch shell holder.???? thanks elton
 
I'm wondering if everyone is thinking the same as me since there are no replies to this thread.
