How to make a site donation .

There are three ways and places you can make donations to this site . On the "6mmBR " site page you will see , towards the top , a large red box with "search the site " in it. UNDER it you'll see make a donation, so click on it . On the same page ,at the bottom, you'll see a Pay Pal donation button and you can go that route . If you'd rather send a check/Money order, mail it to : JASON BANEY ; PO BOX 105 ;MONTOURSVILLE,PA. 17754 AND write the check in HIS name , it will get cashed and go to where it's supposed to - - - no worry !! A short note saying what it's for AND your site "name" is asked for. Those of you who've never donated , do so now and let's ALL help keep a GREAT site up and running .

Thanks for providing this info. You can also donate right here on the forum. Just slide over to the right, and you'll see a orange-yellow "DONATE" button, below the column of recent classifieds.

That button allows you to donate via PayPal.

If you don't like PayPal, you can send a check, as stated above.

You'll also find a donate button on the AccurateShooter.com home page, bottom right column.

We do appreciate all donations, large and small.

The correct email address is:

Mailbox@6mmBR.com

There may have been a misprint in the postcard, or perhaps you wrote this down incorrectly. I'll check with Jason to see if the postcards are printed wrong.

1st of all, I'm not the smartest ( nor close to it) computer person.

I sent in a donation a few weeks ago, & recv. a card from Jason. says:

thanks for donation, etc. if you are a registered in our forum, please email your forum name to "mailbox@6br.com" so we can acknowledge your donation.

when i tried www.mailbox@6br.com", i get this message:

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

it could be my computer problem . I don't need acknowledged, just curious. is it me, some thing i don't understand on why I can't log into the mailbox.

not a big deal.

good site

I'm glad to bring to the forefront a message that we all need to help this site out and how to . There are simply 100's if not 1000's of members do not help this site out . You have your reasons and I'm sure they're good . I will not criticize them but will simply ask that you examine them and see if you can donate .

Very well put gtl.
Wayne.

There's still 1000's that it would be nice to have donate to the site if you can spare some money in these hard times . If you doubt the numbers go through the members list .

How about 12.00 That is only 1.00 a month, Where else can you get all this great shooting info. Nothing good in life is FREE

I wish everyone could see the benefits of donating to possibly the best site of its kind on the web, to help keep it up and running . I know you mean well sir BUT I'm not sure calling people cheap is going to cause them to "run out" and immediately donate . Yes, I'm sure it's easy to get discouraged with the large number of members who don't help out . I would rather spend my time trying to educate them on the why and how of donating . P.S. And no I'm not a "polyanna"----I'd just rather use "honey"than vinegar .YOUR donations are appreciated by the way .

The donate to site button , because of a suggestion , has been moved above the Classified Ads in a red box . Should make it easier for people to find . To the Forum Boss thanks for taking a members suggestion and trying it out . Your efforts are always appreciated .

I just shelled out $1500.00 for an upgraded Forum-only server. Should be online in a couple days.

This should be faster and more reliable.

If anyone's feelin' generous, kick in a couple bucks.

I've noticed 90% of the guys selling stuff in the Classifieds are NOT Site Contributors. :-\

The Classifieds remain free... but it would be nice if regular, repeat sellers would consider making a small donation. Fair is fair.

You'd pay over $50 to sell a $3000.00 rifle on Gunbroker.com. Here's what it would cost to sell $500, $1500, and $3000.00 items on Gunbroker.com (based on final auction price):

Gunbroker $500 Final Price FEES Total = $13.13
Gunbroker $1500 Final Price FEES Total = $31.88
Gunbroker $3000 Final Price FEES Total = $50.63

[Gunbroker.com Over $1,000 item Fee schedule: 5.0% of the first $25 ($1.25), plus 2.5% of the amount between $25-$1000 ($24.38), plus 1.25% of the amount over $1,000]
