how to fill rear bags

Hi everyone, flexible here. My SEB Bigfoot should be coming in fairly soon and i have both Chromium & Zircon sand. I seem to remember reading about using one type of sand in the base and the other in the ears.
Or is this too fanatical?

Use regular sand or paver sand in the ears, I mix 80 % heavy 20% regular in the bucket then funnel into the base.
