That’s wild…looks like a giant mess, good to know though.

It is a mess, however it’s the safest way that I’ve found so far. For me it was a 450 bushmaster.

I've got a brass catcher now, and 1000 PMC factory ammo with no crimped primers. Sooo, if I do this right, I'll be able to focus on brass that's been fired in my gun. The PMC's seem like pretty good brass ??

But I've also got a bazillion brass that I've planned for burners, close range, bulk bullet, apocalypse use and such. I'll be running them through the small base die.

As mentioned, I'm kinda new to this contraption, but I'm having fun with it. jd

Only time I've ever stuck a case was with steel cased ammo in a beater gun. Managed to get it closed enough to fire, but then had to break out the steel cleaning rod to extract the case. We think it was some sort of lacquer on the outside of the case that stuck it. Either way, was the last steel case fired in that gun. Sold it to an employee after a couple more years of shooting it, he still has it and it still shoots well.
