I bought the tool but instructions say to un cock first but doesn’t tell me how.

grab the front of the bolt with one hand and the rear with the other and twist them in towards each other. you want the cocking piece teat to slide down the cocking ramp the opposite of how it cocks.

pay attention after you change the spring as to how the pin strikes the primer. Just changed mine and it was piercing every primer. And yes I bought my spring from Dioro. JFYI.
