How to Create a New Thread (New Topic Button)

One of our new members was having trouble starting a thread:

I know that I am getting older than dirt as they say but I cannot for the life of me find how to post a new topic on this new forum. Can you help please??

It is very easy to create a new thread.

From the main Forum page, click on a particular category (such as Reloading, or Competition -- as it suits your subject matter).

Then click on the BLUE "New Topic button" above the first thread.

That's it ... it's not difficult

I would suggest, however, before you create a NEW TOPIC, use the search function to see if your questions may have already been answered many times. There are many, many existing threads on 6BR loads, and Nightforce scopes for example.

Having trouble posting in any form also it keeps saying to accept the cookies and sometimes it says that I am block by because of spam

You found a post from 14 years ago. Our Forum software has changed.

Look for the orange rectangle in the upper right section labeled “Post Thread”, with a pencil icon.



Be aware that if you are not an upgraded member you can only post two classified threads every 12 months.

The cookies thing depends on your browser. With older iPads we sometimes get the spam warning -- this is related to how your browser is caching the program.

Regarding cookies, go to the very bottom of the screen on the left side and you'll see the word "Cookies".You can click on that.We recommend accepting all the cookies.But you also have an alternative that blocks third party cookies that may load, for example, when someone posts a YouTube video.

Tommy64Red may also be getting an error because it appears he is using an Amazon Proxy server plus a 3rd party VPN. We do not allow VPNs or proxy servers or icloud private relay because criminal scammers use these services to mask their true locations.
