How to contact Rimfire Central?

I registered 6-28 but never got the email to complete the process. I've looked everywhere on the site, but can't find any way to contact them, My username---Saltwood--- comes up when I log on, but am unable to post, so I can't contact them that way. If anyone knows how to do it, a P/M here would be fine.

Thanks, Tom

Tom,
I don't know if this will end up helping but I sent the Administrator a p.m, I hope this will help you some. you may be able to email or p.m one of the administrators, at the very bottom of the main forum page on the right hand side there is a spot that says view forum leaders, click on that, then courser down until you see administrators and click on the right side of where there name is, it will say pm or email click one of those options and get ahold of them that way.
Wayne.

Admin3,
There is a fella that needs some help, he joined the forum and didn't get his email conformation, so he can't post and was asking for some help on accurateshooter.com his username on here is Saltwood, can you help him or do you have any information you could give me to help him get aboard here, Thanks in advance for any help.
Wayne.

Bozo699 and Shynloco. between the two of you I ought to get it done.

I have lurked on RFC for about a year, and decided to go ahead and register when I started shooting a lot of rimfire again.

This site is a really good one, with a lot of very knowledgeable shooters, and a willingness to help, even with off-the-wall stuff like this.

Thanks very much to both of you. When I get it going, I will post here and then delete the thread after a couple of days.

Tom

Ron,
You can post as soon as you get your conformation email, 30 days for classifieds :)
Wayne.

Bozo699 and Shynloco, I got to the Forum leaders, but nothing would give me a field or address. Left clicks did nothing. Somewhere during these attempts a rt click got a window that said "no contact address for moderator", or something like that. I still haven't received any communication at all from the RFC site.

Bozo699, It looks like what you did is my best shot. We'll see.

Thanks again to both of you. Tom

I had exactly the same problem. Go to the area that allows you to put in a ticket. I had to do this at least 5 times before I got results.

Bob

Thanks BB. Just did it. Still have no idea what the h--- a ticket has to do with registering on a website, but very much appreciate the tip.

Thanks again to all, Tom

You better wear your waders if you go to the Savage section. The guy goes by DKSAC2 and is a walking advertisement for Savagegunsmithing.com which Oh by the way he owns. He claims to have a Savage with a factory barrel that shoots .1's or better all day long with Wolf ammo. Read some his back posts and see what I mean.

Moorepower, thanks for the heads-up. Sometimes it takes awhile to peg folks, but eventually it happens.

I still haven't heard from the website. Maybe next year.

Tom

I feel your pain too.

I've tried to register numerous times and just give up in frustration........

Waders won't help in waters/info that swell over your head. The site has numerous sponsors/advertisers that work together with moderators to stifle any negative criticism or factual proof from gunsmiths and proffesionals that make the mistake to go there and post. This pretty well only leaves the shallow back patting from amateurs and wanna be's and the BS marketing hype just gets deeper there every day.

A good example can be found in the CZ forum at RFC, an example of what the moderator GMD1950 writes in the third thread about a well known gunsmith...

http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409850

"While vendor bashing is generally forbidden here, I'm going to leave this up for a while so folks can be forewarned about this shop. I've read what the owner has posted here on RFC and gone over his website and was alarmed by some of the things he had to say about known excellent products. As we've seen more than once its much easier to "talk the talk" than it is to "walk the walk" "

The only things the shop owner was guilty of was warning people of damage that can arise from putting a very powerful aftermarket striker spring in their firearm. The gunsmith is also guilty of having a long turn around time on his work because he is so busy and in demand...LOL. Several other gunsmiths are seeing the same damage to firearms from some aftermarket products. The warranties are often voided on firearms because of their use. Try to send a modified Ruger in for repair/warranty work to Ruger and see what you get back.

Best to get your information from open sites who are not heavily tied in with vendors and site sponsors...at least you can put on your own BS detector and sort through the stuff without some fool claiming to do it for you. Worse yet, your business or personal integrity will be attacked publicly by moderators who even admit they are defying their own forum rules doing so as in the above case.

Alf, I still haven't heard anything from the site, but I'm losing interest anyway. This and another site have good rimfire boards that I can get on.

In the unlikely event that I hear from RFC, I'll probably go ahead and join, but I've got a good B/S detector that will be on.

Thanks to all for the help and warnings.
