How To Clear History to speed things up

Browsers are slightly different, but expect something like this in Chrome.

Menu > Settings > Privacy (or History) > Clear Browsing Data
OR > Clear History
OR > Clear Cache

Clearing catch also clears it all saved passwords. Know them or spend the next few days doing the "forgot password" dance.

FORUM BOSS: It depends on the browser, and your selection.
Yes you should always write down your passwords. However with Chrome and Firefox you can delete history and "web content" without deleting passwords (usually stored in cookies).

For example, Firefox has

Menu > Options > Privacy > Clear History

Menu > Options > Privacy > Clear Cookies and Site Data, then CHOOSE Either or both. Start with Cached Web Content ONLY.



Guys, you should really learn how to do this, even on your cellphones. We recommend clearing your browser cache every couple of weeks. That will (once the new pages load) speed things up and prevent some problems.
