How much neck clearance needed?

Just ordered my first barrel from Stockade Stocks in 6mmBr which is being installed on a Savage action. I asked for a no-turn neck and was told theirs was .271. I made up some dummy rounds with Lapua brass and 75g V-Max bullets. They measured .2694 at the neck. Is this enough clearance or do I need to do alittle neck turning. Up to this point in my reloading I have never had to do any neck turning.

I am getting a 1:12 twist, 6 groove, 24" Benchmark barrel for bullet weights to 85 grains. This rifle will mainly be for Eastern groundhogs and some prairie dog shooting. Its for a Savage SA single shot stainless and will be going in a Stockade Woodchuck model stock painted Weatherby Brown with black webbing.

The best thing to do is to fire one and see if a correct diameter bullet will slip into the fired case with not a touch of resistance. I like to here a little pop sound when you pull it out of the case...... When they are just right they will move back out of the case because of the air contained inside as soon as you push them in and then let go......
Set your brass up like that if you can and it will last forever if your using the correct bushing.
My .272nk Pac-Nor needs the Lapua cases turned to .012.5 for this kind of fit in the chamber.......
