How much longer for the 30-06 page?

Its been a long while comming, is there any news as to how much longer the wait will have to be, before we have a 30-06 page?

I would like to see it at well.Maybe the forum boss will chime in soon and give us an update.The 30-06 live's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just ask German Salazar.

It's interesting you mention German, his site is loaded with ton's of fantastic, well done pages after pages of pricless info;

While the Caliber specific pages on the main page are nice, they are far from the holy grail of info for the caliber, I consider them just a nice summary.
If you really want info about your caliber, just start digging.
The link above has ALOT of 30-06 info, I guess the tuff part is ya gotta actually read. I think the problem is there is so much to say about the 30-06, it's hard to put it all on a single page.

I was hoping the same thing for a 6mmDASHER page. But, when you think about it; if there were a specific page for every caliber that had somewhat of a following,,,, WOW, the index page would be awesome. With all the World Records that have been set with the 6DASHER you would think there would be a page for that, but no, just a minimal mention under 6mm IMPROVED.
But, I like others are very happy with the data that is on the site and I am sure it will grow with thime.
As that old saying goes, "you can't make everybody happy"...

In the meantime, if your interest is mostly for hunting purposes, John Barsness presents a LOT of info on the good old .30-06 in this article:

I also can't read enough about the great 30-06. I have quite a few magnums....but I don't know if any of them kill deader than the Oh Six. I just ordered a Cooper Custom Classic with a few upgrades in.....you guessed it!!!!! Can't wait, it's due in the fall.

That should be one heck of a rifle! Please share photos & range reports with us... Dang...

My youngest son killed a good Washington bear last fall with a .30-06 that three generations of us have hunted with. Great old M1917, 6x Leupold & handloads w/Nosler bullets. Really, still a great old cartridge and about all a guy really needs for most hunting.

Regards, Guy
