How many firings should you get from Lapua 6br brass?

I buy brass in lots of 500 pieces. I'll weigh sort them into plastic baggies 0f .2 grain increments.
I prep and use brass in lots of 100 cases at a time. I'll do 100 fresh cases at the beginning of a season, or when it's new barrel time, these are my match cases, saving the previous years match cases for practice only. I've gotten 22 loadings from the last practice batch getting the first split neck on the 22nd firing. When that happens I just trash can that batch and move on to the next practice batch.

I feel that match cases are at their very best up to three loadings, then still pretty good up to perhaps five or six loadings, after that I feel they start to degrade. Uneven neck tension is usually the culprit.

I'll neck size only till I feel it's time to bump the shoulder, then I'll bump them .001 and go back to neck sizing again.

After that fourth or fifth firing, just anneal the necks. It's like having new brass. If you have a good custom chamber that doesn't allow for lots of case expansion, 6mm BR Lapua is amazing in its longevity. I've never had much faith in annealing necks, but lately have seen plenty of evidence of its benefits.
