Nah, I want to FL size new brass and go through all of the steps and then shoot it in a local match or practice and only shoot brass that has at least 2+ firings on it for a serious match. Just me. I'm not OC at all though I just have tons of it so no need to get all excited about new brass. How many fire new brass in a match ? I read a couple different thoughts on new brass...1) don't load to full power of match load as detrimental to brass life. 2) just load em up and shoot.
What are you thoughts on this? And please explain your answer. I'm trying to get enough brass together (prepped, formed, and some not formed) for the Nationals. I'm not going to shoot enough brass just to shoot...but trying to get as many fired prior in other matches. Even though one will be a state championship match.
Thanks again
Come to think of it once I have a few firings on them I have some much tie and care they are more valuable to me than new ones!
