I remove the collar that locks the measure to the powder die (two allen head screws) and disconnect the "fail safe" (push the white plastic piece in the black bracket down and swing the rod out of the way) then lift the measure off the press and dump the powder.Helping a friend's widow sort his stuff.
Want to put the powder back in the bottle.

Good point. And probably a good idea to double check for any unused stray primers in the machine as well.Add one step after dumping the powder from the hopper… manually cycle the powder bar to dispense what would have been charged into the next case.
