How do I select a rear bag?

So here's my situation and I'd like some of your opinions. I mainly shoot prone 100, 300, 600 and
1000 on varying surfaces, but might mix in some benchrest shooting. I use Eliseo tube chassis guns with the 3/4" Delrin bag riders on them, and have a JJ Loh rest on the way. Since the rear bag is the only non-adjustable item, I'd like to get it right the first time. I'm looking at the Protecktor brand and here's my questions. What height should I be considering? Should I be setting up as low as possible for prone, or should I be higher similar to a bench position. Leather or slick ears, 3/4" spacing to match the bag rider, tall or short ears, loaf style, handle or as minimalistic as possible?

Any other brands or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance...

When I ordered my Protektor rear bag, I was surprised at how much advice I got from Protektor. Don't be shy about calling Protektor and having a conversation about your intended use, the best width and height of the ears for your use, and the best bag height.

Call Dave at Protecktor and he will tell what is best. The ears must fit the stock. I like as much weight as I can get in a rear bag. The height of the ears is not as important as the fit to the stock. A handle makes it easier to carry. The silver stuff is slippy and doesn't need powder or lube to let stock slide. I was up there yesterday and Dave is away in Texas. He is the one you want to talk to. Matt

Called Dave and he was a great help. Looking forward to getting my bag soon. Thanks for all of the advice.
