How do i report a possible hacked account or hacker?

Can you post the hackers info just in case anyone else gets a message.? Or elaborate on why you thought it was a hacker?

We have seen suspicious sale solicitation PMs from member account Yuriart10.

That account appears to have been taken over with a hacked password. So I banned Yuriart10 today.

We saw a half-dozen sale offers since yesterday afternoon.

We called the number listed in the PMs and it went to forwarding.

We request Pegleg75 to provide further info if another account is involved.

Yes sir. Thats the account. He messaged saying he had a US OPTICS FDN 25X in MOA for sale. Then he switched up to a jvcr model. It seemed obvious he was trying to find pictures of the item on the Internet other than having any of his own. There is the conversation and the phone number he provided.

OK, that is almost certainly a scam, and that account has attempted at least 6 other sales in the last 16 hours.

For all members.

When dealing with ANY attempted sale:

1. Check for recent posting activity.

2. Always insist on custom photos.

3. NEVER ever spend a penny without a VOICE audio conversation.

4. NEVER buy anything from any person who does not list their city and state in their profile -- that is required.

Further investigation shows that the email listed in PMs, reightradingbst@gmail.com , has been identified as associated with attempted scams on other Forums.

This explains, in part, how the account was accessed -- probably via a shared password.

All members are reminded to NEVER share a password with another Forum, and you should change your password every 6 months.

We are now tracking the guy down via his phone number and we will contact law enforcement agencies if possible.
