I can comfortably recommend BLACKEN-IT by A-West. I use it to mark the brass for my three different 6mmBR chambers. This reacts with the brass and will survive ultrasonic, media and Iosso case cleaning. I use a small swab to put one two or three dots in the extractor grove to designate each of my three chambers. This is available at hobby shops or on-line $7 to $10 for a 4oz bottle.
Also available from gun shops or on-line is Birchwood Casey Brass Black at $4 to $8.50 for 3oz bottle. Similar product but I prefer the former more because I'm use to it than any other reason.
