how accurate can .308 be ?

I am pretty sure that the IBS 600 yard HG record group was shot by a 308 win. .4xx inch group at six hunred isn't to bad!! It may have since been broken....just not by me!!

When I saw Chuck Furness shoot the spindle out of his spotter several times at 600 and twice in the same match if memory serves me right, that opened my eyes to what a good 308 can do!
