How about...

parts for a post 64 Model 70 Winchester rifle, firing pin to be exact. Where can a guy get one?

Ole,

I was browsing David Tubb's website looking for chrome silicon replacement springs for my AR15 a few weeks ago (out of stock at Brownells) and noticed several firing pin / CS kits for classics. Upon reading your post I went back and took another look and saw that they do appear to have them in stock for post 64 Win 70's (as was the case with the AR springs, Brownells lists the kit for a Model 70 as being out of stock):

www.davidtubb.com/speedlock-win-70-long-action?&search_id=119020 (link is to a long action kit).

It's not original spec, and David Tubb parts are expensive. However, you're also paying for the SpeedLock feature with CS spring.

Good luck!

here is another place to check. He may not have that part listed, but if you call, he may have what you need.
