How about powder for the 58 grain Vmax for the 6mmBR?

Well......AA2230 is the primary one, but RL-7 and H335 work well. Got several zero free bore 6BR's and usually it's 34.6/2230 or 30.5/RL-7.....35/H335 will work also. This is using 450's and Lapua brass, if not using 450's and Lapua brass then reduce the charges a grain and a half......

With a decent barrel and a proper chamber you can expect 5 shot groups at 100 that a dime will completely cover.....easily.

Hands down Lt32, AA2015 or R10x in that order (I love them all but LT32 is my fav). All will get you near 4000 fps.

I wonder how we find the "New" AA 2200? My gunsmith must have bought a big barrel of the old 2200 years ago and it is different from what I've tried in the last year or so. I've got a lot Benchmark, IMR8208, RL10 and H335. I'll try those out.

The new is on the shelves now. The old is commie powder. Quite good but I am curious to see results from the US version. Reports are it is outstanding.

Looks like Benchmark is going to work. Worked up to 32.5 grains for the 58 Vmax is under 1/2" at 100 yards at 3530 FPS. I'll go on up on Monday. I've got 8lbs of it so may as well use it. My loads are for prairie dogs and will be loading 400.

I am using 32.2grs. I use this in an 18" Kimber Montana for coyotes. It has a 1-8 SS Shilen, but shoots ~.5" with me on the trigger.

58 VMax for GH. I settled on 33.3 gr of 8208 for accuracy at 3580 fps. Recently tried the same load with the 60 gr Sierra Varminter. First 5 shots no load developmet under .25". Tried Re-15 and Varget their OK but 8208 was consistently better. H322 may be ok. Didn't like N133 H335 AA2230. The stores always have 58 VMax. 60 Sierra hard to find.
