How About a "LOG" Roundup (OTT Step-Barrels) for Contenders

Posted this on another forum but NOW that we have a pistol section on here. Thought I would try it here.

I have always been fascinated with OTT Step-Barrels for Contenders (Pistol or Carbine). I believe the folks on Specialty Pistol Forum called them "LOGS". I don't have a clue as to how many Mike made. If you have one, please post details with pictures. I'll start it with mine, which over the years, has become my favorite Contender of All Time. Let's see what you got.

What does LOG and OTT stand for or mean?
I remembered seeing this elsewhere.
The blaring ads now make that place no longer tolerable.

LOG was just a nickname for the oversized step barrels (As pictured above)
OTT is On Target Technology. Mike (owner of OTT) made Contender barrels with an EDM process. In my opinion some of, if not the best Contender Barrels ever made.

When I discovered the OTT they were no longer made. Probably a good thing for my retirement fund.

Well, I guess I am in the market for an Encore Frame. Since they first arrived on the scene, I said they were too big and bulky, and I would NEVER own one. Just couldn't compete with the feel and trigger I love so much on a Contender.
But when I stumbled on this little (LOL) gem I knew an Encore was in my future. A shout out to hotrodal on Specialty Handguns for giving me the chance to own it.
It is an OTT Step-Barrel (LOG) chambered in 22 BR. 17 inches long and 1.25 inches at the muzzle. It weighs in at 5lbs 6oz and should just sit in the rest and be a joy to shoot. Came with forend, dies and brass.

I can't wait to get it all put together. Also got a 6x284 OTT Encore barrel (more later)
